Here we leave you some photos of our first public workshop and talk. We also used the space to set up a pop-up exhibition with notes and sketches to share some of the ideas and objects that we are using in our experimentation… A mixture of found objects and works in-progress from these first few weeks of curioseaty.
Thanks to everyone that join us today and experimented with our new learnt skills and equipment (our mini printing-press), we made maritime inspired prints and some decorated french knotting. In the evening we had an informal round table to introduce ourselves and the project. It was great to meet a couple of local artists who also share our sea-related interests, we will be having some follow-up conversations…
Join Lorna and Hondartza on Thursday 24th of July for a workshop where they will share some of the new skills they’ve learnt so far followed by an informal presentation in the evening.
